Assembler Needed for Growing Company in Boyertown! Weekly Pay!
Job Details for Assembler:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am to 3:30pm - Overtime required during busy season
- Pay Rate: $17.00
Job Responsibilities & Description for Assembler:
- -Assemble parts in multiple positions: standing, kneeling, and reaching above shoulder height.
- -Build and put together crates that the furnaces will be put into
- -Screw parts onto the furnaces using a battery powered hand drill
- -Bag parts
- -Drill parts, install panels on the furnace
- -Basic wiring of parts using diagrams, sub assembly
- -Must be able to operate electric screwdriver and various other hand tools (hammer, screw drivers, plyers, tip snips, wrenches, ratchets/ socket, diagonal pliers, read a tape measure, and various air impact tools)
- -Must be able to retain information given during training as they are a batch type manufacturer and repetitively build the same product throughout the year depending on sales forecasts and customer demands.
Job Requirements for Assembler:
- -High School Diploma/ GED, able to read and write English
- -3-5 year's min. production/warehouse experience in an industrial environment
- -Good eye/hand coordination
- -Versatile and able to adapt and perform other operations to support production as needed by supervision and available workforce.
- -Must be team player and show willingness to bring forth new concepts and ideas to be utilized in cost saving applications to improve overall profit margins of the company.
- -Must be punctual and follow Company Safety Guidelines
- -Ability to operate a LP powered forklift a plus, but not required
- -Familiar with electrical testing equipment a plus, but not required (Digital or Analog multi-meter or Hi-Pot tester)
