Classification: Bookkeeper
Compensation: $17.10 to $19.80 hourly
We are looking for a Bookkeeper with a background in accounting, who is fond of group work and enjoys relating to other people. Based in the Miami, Florida region, the company offering this short-term contract / temporary position provides an excellent work environment where effort is rewarded. Your responsibilities in this role
- Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
- Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
- Uphold quality historical records by filing documents
- Maintain and balance general ledger
- Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts
- Balance accounts by reconciling entries
- Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
- Deep understanding of account reconciliation
- Previous ERP experience using accounting software
