Classification: Business Analyst
Compensation: $49.09 to $56.84 hourly
There's a need for a proven business analyst to work on a one-time project for a Silicon Valley software and cloud company. The Business Analyst role is fully remote.
What you get to do every day
- Work with large amounts of data to build various analytical tools and data tables that will provide management with adequate information to help determine profitability of various business segments.
- Manage operational and financial modeling for this one project, building models from scratch to help drive astute business decisions
- Collaborate with leadership to develop financial forecasts and set performance benchmarks, applying business judgment and financial insights to assist with decisions that align capital and resource allocation within the company budget
- Manage special projects and ad hoc analyses
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar; CPA/MBA preferred
- Very strong Excel skills required
- Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required
- Expertise in Data Analytics
- 3+ years related experience working with multiple stakeholders
