Job Details for Chemical Mill Operator:
- Schedule: Training for 6 months M-F 7am-3pm - Then move to 7pm-7am shift
* Work 7 days on 7 days off *
- Pay Rate: $22.44 - $24.50
- $500 bonus once hire perm
- $1,000 bonus if they stay perm past 10/2022
Job Responsibilities & Description for Chemical Mill Operator:
- Position will be responsible for running the manufacturing operations in the Chemical Department
- The position will operate manufacturing equipment, collect process data and respond to irregularities based on statistical process control data.
- Position is responsible for individual safety as well as the safety of others working in the area.
- Will be trained on forklift and safety when working with chemicals
- Will be lifting bags of materials into a mixer based on a "recipe", batches are then mixed (50lb)
- Will be monitoring water levels for appropriate separation required in the solvents
- Unloading of trucks
Job Requirements for Chemical Mill Operator:
- Must be comfortable wearing PPE and working around chemicals (aprons, smocks, respirators in some areas)
- Steel tip boots are required - Provided by Employer
- Must be able to push/pull 50lbs
