Forklift Operator – minimum 6 months experience on stand up (Recent experience operating a stand-up forklift; preferred within a distribution warehouse). Assists in all shipping and receiving operations and will also help on the floor with general warehouse duties such as put away, staging, palatalizing
- Compare identifying information (Tracking Control Number) and count, weigh, measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Usage of Bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records as trained and directed
- Record receipt of incoming materials and equipment.
- Prepares products or materials for shipment.
- Assembles shipping containers or selects pre-assembled containers, and inserts items to be shipped into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
- Closes and seals packages to be shipped.
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Perform General Labor functions off forklift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the entire shift
