Classification: Human Resources (HR) Assistant
Compensation: $19.00 to $22.00 hourly

Robert Half is working with a company that has an opportunity for a self-starter eager to grow with a firm while handling a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. Responsibilities
- Manage a number of administrative duties
- Use the internet to research potential customers
- Partake in new employee on-boarding orientation planning
- Update employee database records
- Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
- Approachable and appropriate behavior when interacting with personnel at all levels in a quickly changing environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Capable in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
- Experience with meeting coordination and planning
- Personnel file maintenance experience highly valued
- Strong familiarity with navigating basic office equipment and protocols
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Earlier work involving calendar managements and scheduling appointments
- Recruiting personnel experience highly preferred
- Comprehension of policies & procedures
- Previous experience working with new employee orientation
- Past experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
