Pay rate: $15.50/hour
Shifts: Mon – Fri (Overtime as needed)
1st 5:00 AM-2:30 PM
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED
Inspect and pack assembled air filters.
Under supervision of lead person- punch in and out of a biometric hand clock; manually inspect and pack air filters products to send to warehouse.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Employee is primarily responsible for packing and inspecting materials and products.
2. Depending on department, employee may be responsible for labeling boxes
3. Obtains and sorts and inspects product before packing.
4. Hand examinations of filter materials
5. Inspects, reviews and performs extensive quality control functions on filter product
6. Reviews and marks acceptable product and places items into designated boxes.
7. Sets the boxes on a tape sealer machine
8. Stacks boxes for distribution.
9. Different types of filters will be packed, depending on the department continuously throughout the shift.
10. Maintains production report (size, quantity on a specific tally sheet of product being produced and finished)
11. Quantities of completed products, as well as size of filters vary depending upon production needs and requests (1", 2" 4" filters)
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
• May be required to lift up to approximately 35 pounds
• Must be able to stand at workstation for a long period of time
• Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles
• Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions
