Intermediate Test Engineer needed for an 18 month contract to hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Austin, Texas.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop, sustain, and maintain automated test solutions for semiconductor equipment.
- Debug & Deploy automated test equipment onsite manufacturing and contract manufacturers.
- Must have background in data acquisition HW & SW, understand interface between HW/SW
- Ability to write automated test sequences in NI CVI, C, C#, & MVVM
- Working knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems ability to capture and restore images
- Troubleshoot downed test fixtures, determine root cause and corrective action analysis during test of systems; provides failure analysis report as required.
- Develop & release test fixture documentation.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time
- Knowledge of vacuum, motion control and sensors is a plus
- Cognizant of safety and able to design test equipment with safety first in mind.
- Ability to read engineering drawings & perform test fixtures design and develop engineering drawings user manuals for the automated test equipment.
- Automated test equipment development and experience knowledgeable of electromechanical assemblies and sensor technologies (vacuum sensors, accelerometers, thermocouple etc.)
- Data acquisition hardware & software expertise. Ability to understand and write code (C, C#) is a plus
- Pays attention to details able to work in lab environment.
- Able to work independently and in team environment with limited supervision.
- Ability to troubleshoot electronics and electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype, tools and test fixtures.
- Provide test fixture support on all installed base test fixtures
- Collaborate with new product engineers, capture test requirements, good communication skills and excellent customer service.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Associate's Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or relevant engineering field

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or relevant engineering field
