This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Inventory Management Specialist
Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Inventory Management Specialist will include:
- Compensation (Range): $32.00 / hour
- Manages inventory levels at T&D Ops Centers which includes but is not limited to Reorder Parameters, Demand Validation, Outage Support (Storm/Planned), Tracking Cost Savings Initiatives, Participating in Projects and Supply Chain Initiatives, etc.
- Demonstrates the skills of the inventory management responsibilities conducts on-going collaboration with regional Supply Chain Ops Center Supervisors, evaluation and management of inventory plans and strategies for assigned business unit to meet business needs at best value, identifies and supports resolutions.
- Provides guidance to the Business Unit on inventory processes, inventory policies and guidelines, material transfer processes, and practices. Reviews ROP/EOQ Stock inventory levels and inventory usage forecasts while reviewing, validating or updating lead times.
- Serves as Single Point of Contact for Business Unit on inventory management and represents supply chain at business unit meetings (inventory health, inventory optimization, project planning, outage, etc.) as required.
- Understands supplier capabilities, establishes relationships with procurement/sourcing and capture cost savings, review lead times, establish economic order quantities, etc relative to inventory optimization.
- May utilize third party options to meet customers' demands and stocking levels.

It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite with strengths in Excel.
- Demonstrated skills with Oniqua/MRO IO
- Demonstrated skills with BAP efroms
- Demonstrated skills with SharePoint
- Proven analytical, business acumen & customer service skills
- Demonstrates effective use of inventory systems, data and reports
- Uses sound inventory management practices, adheres to guidelines, polices and regulations and supports corporate strategic plans.
- Ability to work and participate in a high functioning collaborative team
