Compensation: $35.00 to $45.00 hourly
Robert Half Technology is in URGENT need of an IT Generalist for a prestigious technology company in West LA. THis will be a 6 month contract-to-HIRE opportunity and they are looking to hire IMMEDIATELY. The IT Generalist will be responsible for:
- Windows server experience
- Server/network troubleshooting
- Should know the terminology around servers
- Upgrading servers
- Server 2008/2012/2016
- DHCP server
- DNS
- Cisco
- Cisco Call Manager
- Cisco Wireless Controller
- Cisco IOS
- Meraki
- VMware
- VMware ESX server implementation and management
- Multi VM Server Setup
- AD/DNS/DHCP familiarity
- Network essentials
- Network device setup such as printers/desktops
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting. Connections, protocols, etc.
- Administration of network printers, copiers, servers, and other related network equipment
- Must be proficient with Google Suite
- Must be "handy" with infrastructure hardware installations-Servers, switches, racks, cabling
