SEO Research Analyst needed for a 6 month contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Knoxville, Tennessee. This is a fully remote position however you must reside in one of the following locations: Knoxville, TN, Miami, FL, New York City, Los Angeles, CA, Silver Springs, MD, Seattle, WA, Sterling, VA, Dallas or Waco, TX, Detroit, MI, Atlanta, GA or Detroit, MI. This role features an independent working environment which is heavily deadline driven.
The Big Picture:
Seeking an SEO research analyst to assist the editorial SEO team with topic-and trend-based research and analysis for digital editorial, ad sales, social media, production and marketing teams. The analyst will work with the digital editorial team to optimize content for maximum search engine visibility and site functionality and monitor and evaluate search traffic trends within our brands' industries across major search engines. Your role would be doing keyword research, competitive gap analyses, content optimization and metadata input, trend analysis and more.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Assisting the SEO team with topic- and trend-based research and analysis for the digital editorial, ad sales, social media, production and marketing teams
- Working with the digital editorial team to optimize content for maximum search engine visibility and site functionality and the digital marketing team to optimize marketing efforts
- Monitoring and evaluating search traffic trends within our brands' industries across major search engines
- Keeping track of the latest search algorithm updates to make recommendations for SEO best practices
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of SEO experience with content-rich, information-focused websites
- Strong SEO research and analysis background with the ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Understanding metadata and have experience optimizing content.
- Being proactive with excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with learning and using complex content management systems
- Working well both individually and in a team environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skill
- Experience with Google Search Console, Bright-edge and Adobe Analytics.
- Solid understanding of the digital marketing landscape
