Mechanical Engineer

System One is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for an EPC firm. This position will office in Downers Grove, IL.
Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to drive mechanical technical design and project coordination.
Attend Client and Internal Team meetings.
Specify vessels, pumps, exchangers, rotating equipment and other process equipment. - Review vendor documents for compliance to project specifications and industry standards.
- Prepare equipment datasheets, and full mechanical equipment and system specifications.
- Perform technical and economic evaluations, bid tabulations, and prepare recommendations.
- Manage Project Schedules and Budgets as well as provide weekly reports communicating project status, issues, and needs.
Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8 plus years related work experience with the Industrial Engineering Services Industry, EPC firms, or Production environment
- Work background in one or more of the following industries; Refining, Chemical, and Power
- ASME Code knowledge for pressure vessels and piping systems is required.
- Some background in heat exchangers, rotating equipment, and materials is required.
- PE is a plus or ability to obtain
