This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening.  For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client.

Payroll Trainer        

Job Responsibilities                                              

Your specific duties as a Payroll Trainer will include:         

  • Compensation (Range):50-55  / hour
  • The Payroll Trainer - Time & Attendance will be responsible for designing and delivering training modules to end users on new T&A product. The candidate must be comfortable facilitating course material for large scale systems integration initiatives.
  • Nominees must be flexible, adaptable, collaborative, and open-minded to meet changing program needs and requirements.
  • Ability to facilitate training classes both in-person and virtually.
  • Update, test, and maintain course materials if applicable.
  • Assist in creating training communications as needed (job aids, system changes, etc.)
  • Assist in creation of course design documents, learning objectives, course content, practice scenarios, scripts, videos, and activities.
  • Build strong partnerships with subject matter experts (SME) and Testers to align expectations, develop cohesiveness through the course development, and deployment process.
  • Will host various training formats and remain up to date on new training methods and techniques.
  • Collaborate with leadership to select appropriate training methods and activities.

Job Requirements

As a Payroll Trainer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred from accredited university
  • 2+ years' experience developing innovative curriculum to support classroom delivery or 10+ years payroll processing experience including mentorship and training experience.
  • Systems experience with Time and Attendance Packages, preferable Workforce Software
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all employee levels across multiple business units and functional areas.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment with an emphasis on total customer satisfaction
  • Customer service oriented
  • Continuous improvement mind-set
