Description of Role/Responsibilities:
This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in gaining experience in a heavily regulated enterprise environment. This person will be focused on a large hardware deployment project. This person will be responsible for unboxing the new hardware, deploying the software to the devices, coordinating with users to schedule a time for them to pick up their new equipment and drop off their old equipment. You will also do a walk through with the user on the new devices to ensure they have access, licensing, everything is working correctly and then providing tier 1/2 technical support for any issues that arise. This person must have excellent communication, customer service, adaptability and time management skills. Required Skills:
- 1+ year of experience in a Desktop Support, Hardware Technician or Helpdesk Support position
- Experience taking apart computers, removing and crushing hard drives, installing memory and replacing batteries
- Ability to install and uninstall software
- Experience troubleshooting software issues, ideally with Windows 10 and Office365
- Must have critical thinking, time management, able to follow instructions and work well with a team
- Must be adaptable and open to change
- Must have excellent customer service skills
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with Microsoft AutoPilot would be a plus
- Previous imaging/deployment experience would be a plus
- Previous experience with a hardware deployment project
- A+ certification
