Pay rate: $15.00 / hour
Shifts: Mon – Fri, Sat
1st: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Essential Job Duties
Daily job responsibilities include:
- Point of first contact for Made2Manage job orders and planning related issues
- Review labor entries and notify who needs training
- Made2Manage training for planning office
- Log drawings as received; review drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) for missing or conflicting information
- Enter standard routings into the Made2Manage (M2M) system
- Consult with supervisors and leads as needed for operation times and sequences
- Compare component part drawings with assembly drawings and follow up with Production or Engineering for any discrepancies
- Deliver drawings to appropriate location and pull obsolete drawings off the floor
- Release and distribute travelers that start with weldments, assemblies, saw or machine shop operations to appropriate supervisor or to Quality for review; distribute all other travelers to the floor
- Run daily labor reports including the Backlog, Labor, Job reports, and any others as needed
- Research information on Job Orders as required
- Complete Quality documents as required
- Work closely with Engineering to resolve problems with blueprints, sales, and shop floor when information needs clarification
- Prepare and release stock travelers to appropriate supervisors including replenish, outside process and internal use
- Log stock item drawings in computer
- Release job pick list and stock item drawings to Stock Room
- Provide Purchasing with the pick list job numbers released to the Stock Room
- Prepare designated reports as needed
- Maintain the Priority List for changes with equipment and schedule
- Spot check job scanning accuracy of employees on the floor and report discrepancies
- File change orders and BOMs
- Assist raw materials inventory management
- Communicate with shop supervisors to solve problems as required
- Provide back-up telephone coverage for Receptionist
- Create job book labels and distribute
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years experience as production clerk I
- Knowledge of basic shop functions and blueprints preferred
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
