The Global Edge Consultants leaders within Oil and Energy Recruitment currently require a Project Manager for spare parts and repair to be based in Santa Ana, CA.
Basic Functions
Projects Manager for Aftermarket Repairs from Customer inquiry and receipt of Customer
equipment until delivery and invoicing. Creates technical repair quotations, cost structure,
pricing and Projects Scheduling. Chief liaison for external communications with Customers
and internal communications with various Departments through the lifetime of Aftermarket
Repair Project.
Knowledge
Has knowledge of Project Management and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Understands how to create Sales Order (S.O.) and Work Order (W/ in ERP system and maintain responsibility of keeping track of historical pricing, building up a database and updating based on commodity changes and our annual full cost rate changes, ensuring we secure certain liability protections, and negotiate some lighter commercial points (Incoterms, delay damages etc.), as well as applying the terms of our frame agreements with certain customers Contractual knowledge is also a requirement.
Responsibilities
- To achieve all project goals set within the department
- Conduct and follow-up internal inspections and evaluations
- Prepare and submit Technical Evaluation Reports to customers
- Prepare cost structure and determine pricing to submit repairs' quotations
- Present information, opinions, and key points clearly and fluently in assertion.
- Great at multi-tasking, organizing, and prioritizing task.
- Monitors and maintains quality and productivity.
- Prepare repair schedule to meet customer requirements
- Scheduling and track execution of order completion
- Own the interface for customers communications
- Create S.O, W.O and process customer P.O using company ERP system
- Follow up receipt of payment
Education, Experience and Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably some technical background with 4-6 years' experience in Project Management
- Previous experience developing and maintaining good customer relations
- Change agent and process oriented.
- Establishes good relationships with customers and staff. Builds wide and effective networks of contacts inside and outside the organization.
- Manages conflict.
- Sets high standards for quality and quantity. Works in a systematic, methodical, and orderly way. Takes initiative, acts with confidence, and works under own direction.
