Title: Quality Manager
Location: Grand Junction, CO
Type of Role: Contract
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Global Edge is an award-winning recruitment agency connecting projects worldwide with the industry's most talented project professionals. Our team is currently looking for a Quality Manager for a chemical manufacturing plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
This position is the Quality Representative:
- Organizes and leads the Management Reviews
- Produces Monthly KPI and Quality reports.
- Manages one contractor direct report.
Responsible for the US Quality Management System:
- The development and implementation of ISO processes and standards.
- Alignment between the business, manufacturing sites and customer service.
- Ownership of quality data in business and QC Lab systems.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS):
Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or another related field required.
- 5 years previous industrial experience or relevant Quality management experience.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- A specific emphasis on communications and planning with attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills: SAP and Microsoft Office
WORK CONDITIONS
- Works in a matrix environment - multiple sites and multiple product lines
- Works with a geographically diverse user base in the USA
- Maintains close connection to TOTAL Cray Valley management.
- Recommends and implements quality process improvements and corrective actions.
- Formulates and develops business relationships with that directly impact the customers.
