Scientist - Cell Culture

Do you have an interest in cell culture? Are you interested in a long-term Contract in Frederick with a global leader in the scientific community? In this role you will be responsible for:
* Maintenance of primary cell and cell line cultures
* Characterization of active cultures by microscopy, flow cytometry, or next-generation sequencing
* Preparation and presentation of experimental data summaries
* Interaction with scientists in other business units to troubleshoot problems and identify new opportunities
Interested? Well qualified candidates will bring:
* A strong background with cell culture(cell lines, primary cells, 2D & 3D culture)
* A Master's degree in Biology or related field of study OR a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of cell culture experience
* Ideal candidate may also have experience with handling of primary tissue and evaluation of cultures via microscopy and image analysis, Western blot, flow cytometry, or gene expression
