Job Responsbilities
- Background investigations on candidates for employment and contractors seeking access to company facilities.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and legal requirements for the collection of individual background information.
- Interviews individuals within and outside the company regarding a candidate's character and reputation.
- Provides consultation and advice to human resources and management regarding suitability for employment or access to company facilities.
- Maintains databases to support security programs and manage electronic access control systems.
- Monitors and facilitates response for automated alarm systems.
- Manages emergency notification procedures in accordance with company response plans.
- Controls personnel, vehicle and package/cargo access to company facilities in accordance with company policy and security procedures.
- Coordinates with management to oversee contract guard services at company facilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work with various software applications including Lotus Notes, MS Office and access control systems.
- Knowledge and experience dealing with specific issues associated with providing security at an energy company and critical infrastructure protection.
- Experience with background investigations on candidates for employment and contractors seeking acess to company
- Ability to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements for collection of individual background data
- Ability to interview individuals within and outside the company regarding candidates suitability for employment
- 4 years of related work experience
