Classification: Switchboard Operator
Compensation: $12.66 to $14.66 hourly
Robert Half currently has an excellent "remote" opportunity for a talented and motivated Switchboard Operator. Switchboard Operator is responsible for fielding incoming calls to the representing department. The operator must listen to the caller, solve the query or directing the call to the correct person/department. Pay up to $16 an hr. This exciting opportunity is a contract-to-full-time.
As a Switchboard Operator you will:
Job Responsibilities:
• Answer and direct all incoming external and internal telephone calls
• Notify the Telecommunications department of any functional issues
• Identify and recommend enhancements to the current system
• Train backfills to ensure continuity when Main Switchboard Rep is on PTO
Qualifications To be successful in the Switchboard Operator position, candidates will meet the following qualifications:
• Prior experience with high volume switchboard
• efficient, outgoing personality
• Exceptional detail oriented manner
• Good knowledge of Word and ExcelSwitchboard Operations, Customer Service
