Work Status: Currently remote but could return to office

Job Summary:
The overall purpose of this position is to digitally promote the Client's REACH program to a variety of audiences. The incumbent in this position is primarily responsible for content and campaigns that generate market reach and maximizes impact of the program, while communicating information through a wide variety of mediums.
The incumbent will significantly increase both interest and use of the program from teachers in a variety of education disciplines including, but not limited to those within STEM and Social Studies, increase awareness of client REACH program both nationally and internationally, and grow awareness from within company. The incumbent will build awareness of the program's value necessary for obtaining B2B financial support of the program and grants. As a team player, the Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist will also provide marketing guidance to program managers, and collaborate with other marketers to develop campaigns, create content, and focus on continuous, measurable improvement.
The incumbent will help with the development and data needed for effective website benchmarks, analyze website and advertising analytics, report on data, assist with revenue generation, and stay on top of the latest technologies that will help to grow the REACH Program.
Key Responsibilities (Specific duties include but are not limited to):
Digital Marketing
  • Manage, refine and implement new digital marketing programs and evaluate new technologies that ultimately result in wider use of the client REACH program. Build and manage a rich content strategy and editorial calendar with sharable content, including social media posts, blog/microsite posts, promotional webinars, podcasts, images, infographics, etc. that leads to increased traffic.
  • Engage and build our online community, targeting teachers from numerous disciplines.
  • Assist with internal marketing to client's members and volunteers.
  • Aid in the development and creation of marketing materials for potential B2B sponsors and explore and identify new ways to engage our target audience to generate sponsor and donor interest.
  • Write newsletter articles, ads and other marketing collateral and content for a variety of audiences and mediums to support and increase product outreach and program adoption.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to achieve the marketing and communications objectives of the organization and increase program use and impact.
  • Assist with website population.
Lead Generation
  • Develop, manage, measure and optimize campaigns that lead to B2B and B2C leads and conversions for a variety of programs.
  • Optimize content and tagging for search engines (SEO/SEM) and measure results.
  • Grow our email list organically, manage and organize all lists.
  • Assist with marketing and outreach for webinars and teacher development workshops.
Analysis, Analytics and Reporting
  • Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives and report to internal management and external stakeholders regularly to show ROI.
  • Use data and analytics to continually refine lead generation campaigns to improve the quality of leads generated.
  • Measure results and optimize lead nurturing workflows to convert leads into users.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of related work experience in digital marketing and/or communications, with proven experience in lead generation, digital communications, ad creation and analytics reporting.
  • Social media marketing experience and online community management skills required.
  • Google Adwords experience preferred.
  • SEO/SEM experience preferred.
  • Graphic design skills a plus.
Skills & Other Requirements:
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills a must (writing samples will be required).
  • Organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Acrobat and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of Zoom, Webex or other virtual platforms a plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS a plus.
