The growing gRED IT Lab Engineering, Automation & Productivity (LEAP) group supports the IT needs of Genentech's Research and Early Development (gRED) laboratories. LEAP seeks a talented technical analyst to test and support technology enabled solutions for groups across the gRED organization.
Your responsibilities will include working across a diverse team of lab scientists and IT professionals. You will join a growing LEAP team with a variety of skills and experiences in both technology and life sciences. Together you will have the opportunity to shape and build a modern R&D environment that propels Genentech's drug development ambitions.

Job Requirements:
- Prepare and Execute Test Plans and Strategy for new and existing applications
- Application Testing
- Assist with Software Deployments
- Troubleshoot and find solutions for technical issues in labs
- Application Support for multiple lab operations applications
- Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for streamlining team and business processes.
- Partners with various personnel within the Labs, gRED IT, and Global IT teams on assigned tasks and can lead and drive for results.
- Create and review training materials, assisting in training where necessary
Successful candidates will have many of the following attributes and experience:
- 3 - 5 years of technical support, testing, and documentation experience
- Knowledge of scientific applications and technologies
- A focus on solution delivery, with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with your own team, technical IT partners, and customers
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form to non-technical audiences
- Experience with knowledge management software (e.g., gSites, Confluence) a plus
- Experience with issue tracking software (e.g., Trello, JIRA) a plus
- Experience in Life Sciences / Biotech industry is a plus
