The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the shipping, receiving, and storage of all parts and materials sold and inventoried by the company. Specific responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and ship orders.
- Receive Stock Orders.
- Coordinate efforts with Warehouse management to dispose properly of scrapped parts & maintain documentation.
- Participate in physical counts of parts and materials on an annual or as directed basis.
- Assist in determining causes of short- or over-item situations.
- Operate within all parts policies and procedures of GCC.
- Operate safely and follow all safety guidelines.
- Support and participate in the organizations continual improvement program, to conform to ISO 9001 requirements and understand the implications of not conforming with the Quality Management System.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Training
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in lieu of education will be accepted.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of warehousing and distribution experience a plus
- UPS World Ship and FEDEX manifesting experience a plus.
- Wireless Warehouse environment a plus.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment a plus.
