Classification: Accounting Clerk
Compensation: $14.00 to $14.50 hourly
Robert Half is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk, whose duties will be supporting an appliance business with day-to-day front to back services. The Accounting Clerk will be joining a small team which means that reliability and communication are key. Business hours are Monday 12PM - 5:30PM, Tuesday Thursday & Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM and Saturday 9AM - 3PM.
This is a long-term contract / temporary to hire position based in the Clovis, California area. Your responsibilities
- - Filing sales' contracts, receipts and invoices
- - Group documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes
- - Answer incoming calls and greeting visitors as they arrive
- - Settle discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
- Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
- Comprehensive knowledge of inventory
- Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
