Classification: Accounts Payable Clerk
Compensation: $19.79 to $22.91 hourly
Robert Half currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Saint Paul, Minnesota area and will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position. Further career growth and quick advancement is possible in this dynamic department. The Accounts Payable Clerk position will require to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.
Your responsibilities
- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
- Carry out additional projects as required
- Help with internal and external audits as required
- Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
- Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
- Perform full-cycle A/P

- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
- Spreadsheet and database capabilities
- Data entry experience preferred
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
