Classification: Accounts Payable Clerk
Compensation: $33.00 to $35.00 hourly
Robert Half Full Time Contract Talent is hiring for two Accounts Payable Clerks to join our internal, full-time staffing with benefits to include medical, dental, vision, 401k and vacation. Our biopharma client is seeking Accounts Payable support on their team. Our client is looking for an employee through our organization for 6 - 8 months and provide the continuity for this duration.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the Accounts Payable Manager on a team of two
- Responsible for clearing the inbox, process the invoices on a timely basis; clear exceptions and contact appropriate departments for any clarification;
- Ensure proper coding of all invoices, get approval and process for payment;
- Communicate effectively with vendors of assigned accounts and update in the accounting system;
- Work with month-end close process and must be able to meet departmental deadlines;
- Meet daily with Accounts Payable Team and project workload deadlines
- May help with check run and monthly accruals;
- Prepare for year-end close and any audit preparation.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is preferred, 2+ years of accounts payable experience with a public company
Software: Mid-tier software is preferred, NetSuite, Oraclefusion, Intacct, or SAP
