Position Summary:
- We have an exciting contract opportunity for a Bioinformatics Analyst to perform bulk differential gene, ideally microarray and RNA-seq) and enrichment analysis in the R programing language, leveraging public domain datasets from NCBI GEO/SRA and/or EBI Array Express/ENA repositories.
- This includes performing quality control, normalization, differential gene limma/variance
- Partition dream or other R method) and single-sample gene set enrichment scoring or other enrichment method to support project disease indication and model prioritization in disciplines such as neuroscience, fibrosis, immunology, and oncology.
- The ideal candidate will also have Linux shell coding experience for semi-automated job submission on high performance computing servers.
