A major financial services firm is looking for a C# UI Developer to join their team in New York, NY.
You will be a hands-on C#/.Net developer involved in the full development lifecycle, focusing on main trading tool used by Corporate Loan traders across multiple regions.
The job will require a strong interest and capability to:
- Develop highly reliable and performing UI
- Learn about the relevant financial products if you don't already understand them
- Apply such knowledge to the work on real-time systems based on both OpenSource and proprietary technologies
- Production issue troubleshooting, as well as performance profiling/tuning
Qualifications
Required
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of relevant hands-on technical experience
- Strong C#/.Net UI skill
- Strong Winforms/WPF development
- Multithreaded programming
- Ability to navigate a large and complex code base
- Data structures, design patterns, multi-threaded programming and distributed computing
- Continuous integration
Desired
- Experience with Java to work closely with server side developers
- Financial knowledge to work with Quants
