Customer Service Representative

System One is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative on a 9-month contract position located in Roseville, MN.
This position will be with our client, a utility holding company serving more than 3.3 million electric customers and 1.8 million natural gas customers.
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
- The HomeSmart Customer Service Representative's primary responsibility is responding to new and existing HomeSmart customer requests for service, answering customer inquiries, solving problems and offering solutions in a respectful and efficient manner, with the ultimate goal of satisfactorily resolving issues with one contact
- Accountable for individual performance indicators of attendance, adherence to schedule, occupancy, and quality of calls to ensure that the overall business objectives of Service Level and Customer Satisfaction are achieved
- Must have the ability to manage all aspects of customer service including answering inquiries via phone and e-mail, assisting with enrollment, submitting service requests, consultative sales, and other projects, as assigned
- Ability to learn about a variety of products and services; ability to effectively describe/explain products and services to customers
- Must be able to incorporate constructive feedback into improved performance
- Customers may be internal or external with requests of varying degrees of complexity
- Call center position; reporting to work on time and maintaining a good attendance record are critical
- Manages all aspects of customer service including answering inquiries via phone and e-mail, taking orders, and follow up services
- May require research skills to troubleshoot customer problems
Customer Service Representative Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to work from home, for now (requires high-speed internet access)
- In the future, may be required to work from the office
- Experience with MS Office required and experience with Salesforce is extremely helpful
- Previous experience working in customer service, specifically in a contact center environment taking inbound calls (preferred)
- Knowledge of Appliance Repair Plans and/or HVAC industry a plus
- Requires research skills to troubleshoot customer problems
- Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and customer service skills, good analytical ability, be detail oriented, able to work independently, willing to learn, proactive problem solvers, team players and able to multi-task
- Contact center hours are: 6:00AM - 9:00PM
- Monday - Friday: 6:00AM - 6:00PM, Saturday & Sunday
- All shifts are (5) 8 hour days or (4) 10 hour days
- The shift may include weekend hours
Duration: 9-months
