Description:
- · Work with pursuit team to review Design-Build RFPs, identify the preferred design partner and develop and win strategy
- · Support the pursuit team in the selection of the Architect and Consultant team.
- · Complete research and review the RFP to fully understand the key factors that will influence the Owner's selection.
- · Support operations in assembling a team
- · Manage the design development and proposal production schedule.
- · Negotiate scope of services and price for design and construction phase with Architectural, Engineering and consultant firms.
Design Phase
- · Refine the Design Work Plan with the operations team and Design team to ensure alignment of plans
- · Establish a plan for regular design and coordination meetings and facilitate the meeting sessions producing meeting minutes from each session
- · Oversee the Design Team's work, including but not limited to:
- · Preliminary Basis of Design (BOD), programming, site studies, user criteria evaluation for scope and cost
- · Detailed design activities such as Schematic, Design Development and Construction Documents, coordination of owner furnished equipment, project specifications, general requirements/general conditions, value management decisions and design QC
