Job Title: Developer (Web Development)
VOLT is seeking candidate for Developer role as a contingent 100% remote position for our client.
Key Functions:
- Develops, builds, configures, tests, documents, deploys, and provides on-going support & management of systems and tools and their related processes.
- Investigates, plans, and recommends enhancements to existing solutions to improve performance, usability, reliability, supportability, and costs.
- Experienced in building, supporting, and configuring applications in the cloud (AWS or Azure preferred)
- Performs advanced root cause analysis and provides appropriate resolution.
- Educates users on how to use the solutions and systems for optimal business value. This may include creating training materials in multiple medias and formats.
- Works tickets using the standard support tools for incident management, problem management, and change control.
- Work in an Agile environment.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years software development experience; supporting supply chain or sales applications strongly preferred
- Excellent web development skills (such as ASP.Net C#. .Net Core, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, UI5, VB)
- Excellent SQL Server T-SQL programming skills, including SSRS.
- Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services or other cloud IaaS or PaaS experience and knowledge
- Skilled at collecting user requirements and building functional and technical specifications for strategic custom applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Highly Valued:
- MS Dynamics experience in support and development.
- SAP ECC R/3, S/4 HANA, Fiori (UI5) experience or knowledge
- MS Office 365 and PowerBI experience
- Business and/or manufacturing experience
