Aegis is seeking an electrical assembler for a client in Schaumburg IL. This position will be a contract to hire opportunity. The ideal candidate has the following
- 2-5+ years of experience as an assembler
- Must be able to read and follow blueprints and schematics (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
- Wire panels in a neat and organized way
- Panel layout and wiring experience with AB Compact Logix and GE RX3i Pac system- plus
- Troubleshoot and correct wiring errors
- Able to use hand and power tools, fork truck, overhead cranes, and precision measuring devices.
- Must be able to climb on top of large machinery and comfortable with heights.
- Adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly
- Provide electrical support for the site electrical system
- Build and assemble custom electrical and wiring components
- Assemble complex electrical wiring harnesses and electronic components
- Assemble standard electrical wiring harnesses and electronic components
- Meet all quality standards for electrical assembly
- Adjust workpieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly
- Make corrections or changes to electrical cabinets and electrical panels in process
- Adjust work pieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly
- Terminate all electrical components and connections
- Perform electrical assembly in-full, including point-to-point wiring
- Ensure proper grounding of electrical components
- Adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly
- Adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiringor assembly
- Ensuring all electrical work activities
- Switch panels, transformers and other electrical equipment and components
- Terminate all electrical wiring according to wiring diagrams using the proper tools
- Tag all components and wiring
- Complete the physical assembly of control panels
- Routing for all electrical needs
