Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) has an Electrical Designer position available in Parlin, NJ. This is a long term contract position with one of the largest EPC firms in the country.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Prepare, maintain, or create drawings under the direction of engineers and/or senior designers.
- Field verify, redline single lines & schematics
- Support E&I engineer on various capital projects
- Assist in writing construction scope of works
- Field Assist Construction Management in as-builts
- Manage site documentation
- Must apply design/engineering industry standards or client standard practices to work.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of related experience
- P&ID Development
- Electrical single line diagrams
- Electrical schematics
- Interconnection diagrams
- Lighting drawings and details
- Grounding drawings and details
- Instrument Loop diagrams
- Cable Conductor Schedule (CCS), Project Supplement Reports (PSR)
- Instrument Location Drawings
- Proficient with AutoCad or Microstation, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Develop knowledge of the National Electrical Code and other codes.
- Experience in reading, understanding, and utilizing electrical schematic drawings to develop project designs.
- The proper candidate should exhibit professionalism, be detail oriented, accurate, organized, productive and possess excellent communication skills.
