Electro-Mechanical Project Manager 1 at Austin Staffing, Inc

Austin Staffing Inc. is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Project Manager for a Direct Hire Role in Hillsboro, OR. Under the supervision of Sr. Project Manager / Sr. Manager – Install. This position works with Sr. Project Manager closely and has overall responsibility for small-scale installation projects. They are also responsible for providing job site supervision of installation resources (Subcontractors and employees) and leading them by example to complete installation and upgrade of AMHS equipment in a timely manner, safely, and on budget. The Project Manager is required to manage project costs and report costs to the executive management team. They must follow designated installation procedures and safety guidelines established for work areas.

Essential Duties:
  • Supervise and lead all installation resources (contractors and employees) by example 
  • Manage the selection, orientation, training, evaluation, and task assignment of personnel 
  • Responsible for managing project costs and reporting project costs to the executive management team 
  • Communicate and report the project status both to the customer and internal functions 
  • Maintain and initiate direct contact with customers through daily and weekly on-site meetings to assure customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate materials and parts delivered to the site 
  • Participate actively in site safety and compliant with safety protocol
  • Create, implement and monitor all manpower shift/back fill planning to be compliant with installation contracts and Scope of Work requirements 
  • Assist Engineering Dept. in the development of necessary installation jigs and methods 
  • Follow all safety and protocol guidelines and report unsafe conditions

  • Required to travel as often needed (Domestic and International)
Education:
  • High School Diploma / Associate Degree in Technical (Mechanical or Electrical) field is a plus
  • Technical Certificate is a plus
Knowledge (Equipment, Tools, Principles, Software, Math, etc.) & Experience Knowledge: 
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical knowledge 
  • Robotics 
  • Drawing reading and understanding of schematics 
Computer Skills: 
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) 
  • Windows OS 
Experience: 
  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of managing experiences 
  • Previous semiconductor experiences (preferred)
