· The Engineering Technician provides engineering technical support to plant operations for production equipment and control system changes, improvements, and upgrades, along with general trouble-shooting and preventive maintenance support to the production lines.
· This position acts as a liaison with vendors, plant, and division in implementing and troubleshooting new equipment and designs and frequently works independently within the assigned areas of responsibility.
· Troubleshoot and assist in repairs of all equipment, instrumentation, and processes in responsibility.
· Recommends and reviews spare parts and preventive maintenance program in assigned area of responsibility.
· Perform tasks such as writing RCE's, VCR's, Scope Documents, etc.
· Lead RCA and assist in MOS process.
· Act as back fill or support to maintenance tech.
· Willingness to train in site specific disciplines
· Shift Timings: (Please respond with preferred shift)
o 6AM – 2 PM
o 10PM- 6AM
Requirements
· Provide technical support for equipment, processes, and control systems in Manufacturing Operations.
· Maintain and trouble shoot PLC software and PC network issues related to vendor equipment.
· Troubleshoot equipment and provide solutions to problems or issues in equipment operation, process flows, and instrumentation.
· Provide technical support and input into projects during project.
· Beckhoff TwinCat 2 experience is beneficial.
