ETL Developer at NTT DATA

NTT Data is assisting our healthcare client in their recruiting efforts for this role.  This is a temporary to hire position with our client.  

Contract Length: 3-6 months.

Summary:

The ETL Developer will be responsible for mapping, design, development, unit test and deployment of Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes using SSIS or other tools designated for the purpose.

Essential Functions

• Source to target mapping
• Writing SQL code using both T SQL and PL SQL
• Set up ETL OLEDB, flat file and other source and destination connection managers
• Create various SSIS transformations and tasks as per requirements and best practices
• Create dynamic file paths, archival paths, for each loops, variables, parameters and expressions
• Deployments of ETLs between Dev, QA and Prod using SSSI config files and scripts

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Hands on Experience with deploying, checking in and out, exporting ETL packages using SVN
• Best practices/standard procedures for SQL, except SSIS
• Trouble shooting issues with ETL solutions
• Trouble shooting issues with script tasks using both C# and VB
• Familiar with different versions of Visual Studio and most recent additions
• Performance tuning SQL queries and SSIS solutions etc.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proactive mindset and ability to multitask
• Enhancing and Automating (as applicable) current manual processes
• Debugging and monitoring SQL agent, syslogs and audit logs
• Handled at least 5 TB of data load
• In depth experience and knowledge about data warehousing methodologies and best practices
• Experience with generating data/files for front end applications
• Experience in health care domain, specifically claims, ADT and enrollment data required
