Job Summary
Designs, develops, modifies, and implements web applications and/or services to support our Portals Platforms based web applications. This person will be a member of the team that is responsible for all aspects of the SDLC. They will be expected to be on top of industry tools and trends in web developments and/or web API development. Our team builds internal facing web apps for our Sales Representatives. We focus on performance much more so than making it beautiful.
Tech Stack: ReactJS, ES6, Webpack, Babel, Immutable, Java 8, Spring Boot, Netflix OSS, Mongo
Responsibilities:
Develop software based on portals platform standards and patterns
Work as a part of a development team
Participate in peer and code review activities
Mentor less experienced developers
Required Skills:
STRONG working knowledge and experience with JavaScript (es5/es6)
Solid understanding of OOP and prototypal inheritance
Experience using Web UI Debugging tools (firebug, chrome dev tools, windows scripts debugger, etc.)
Strong communication
Plusses:
Experience with ReactJS
Good understanding of git version control
Solid understanding of REST
Experience building single page applications with JavaScript
