As a Heat treat operator you will set up and operate continuous belt quenching and temper heat treat lines. This position offers permanent hire after 90 days and yearly pay rate increases based on performance.
Shifts: 2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM / Monday - Friday
Compensation: $16.50 plus $1.50 shift premium with an additional $1.00 attendance bonus for working 40 hrs per week. That's right $19.00 per hour if you work 40 hours per week!
Crucial Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain production flow
- Perform and document equipment reading at required intervals
- Load and unload product in the process using a forklift
- Keep detailed daily records; have strong organizational skills; ability to learn quickly
- Read and follow production schedule's, control plans and work instructions
- Operate heat treat machine using computer-controlled heat treat equipment
- Work effectively/efficiently in warm temperatures
- Any other duties required by the direct supervisor
- Desire to learn new skills
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Perform all functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation's
- Forklift move product to / from heat treat machine's
- Multi tasking
- Good attendance
