Title: HR Recruiter/ Generalist to support their new site location.
Contract Length: 8 Months + Extension/Conversion possibilities
Location: Eden, TX (1-2 days remote weekly)
Schedule: 8:00am-4:00pm

HR Recruiter/Generalist
JOB SUMMARY:
Bring your recruiting skills and passion to Polaris to staff and onboard talent for a new location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruiting

  • Proactively manages the talent acquisition process: sourcing, screening, and talent selection.
  • Proactively manage a bench of roles, varying from 5-10 at any given time.
  • Objectively track progress and mitigates obstacles or deploy countermeasures to keep requisitions moving forward to completion and successful hire
  • Proactively remains up to date with industry best practices, including market intelligence and data trends
  • Provide timely and accurate system reporting, including maintaining real-time candidate disposition status in the Workday Recruiting ATS
  • Collaboratively partner with functional and business leaders to draw connections from the Polaris business strategy to our Talent Acquisition strategy and focus areas.
  • Keenly focused on ensuring a positive candidate experience

Training/Onboarding

  • Manage the entire onboarding process for new employees and those new to the location
  • Help develop and execute training of new employees - needs analysis, execution, measurement
  • Collect documentation and ensure compliance

Culture/Engagement

  • Foster positive working culture at the new site
  • Keep pulse on employee sentiment and drive actions if needed

Employee Relations

  • Coach managers on employee situations and escalate to partners as needed
  • Communicate all relevant HR policies
  • Manage and properly address employee complaints


HR Process Management & Operations

  • Execute Workday transactions for employee hires, moves and changes
  • Provide administrative support to HR team (Workday data entry, offer letters, org charts, folder maintenance)

Other tasks as needed

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 2-3 years' experience with full lifecycle recruitment in a fast-paced environment, preferred hourly recruiting experience
  • Experience/Exposure to HR generalist work - onboarding, compliance, employee relations
  • Able to work both independently without direct day to day supervision
  • Highly organized, takes initiative, able to solve problems in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) preferred
