Classification: Insurance Referral Coordinator
Compensation: $25.00 to $25.00 hourly
• Coordinate with New Business and Marketing departments on New Account Implementation
• Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solution and reporting according to customer needs and objectives.
• Ability to conduct premium audits at the account and policy level.
• Application and reversal of policy premium at both the group and policy level.
• Develop long lasting trusted advisor relationships with plan administrators and key customer stakeholders.
• Clearly communicate the progress of implementations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Verify the accuracy of rate quotes communicated to groups along with the data loaded into the system.
• Maintain ownership of client projects, meet deadlines according to established standards, and accomplish new and different requests per client specifications
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Have some knowledge of the life and health insurance industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level customer service skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables)
- Must be able to perform well in a fast-paced, demanding work atmosphere.
- Bachelors Degree is preferred
- One to three years' experience in the insurance industry with one of those years in customer service is desirable.
