This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening.  For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client.

Inventory Control Specialist        

Job Responsibilities                                              

Your specific duties as a Inventory Control Specialist will include:  

  • Compensation (Range): $18/ hour
  • The Supply Chain Contractor position will provide daily support to operations, inventory control and analytical support at our FL Location. The activities range from ensuring the flow of completed jobs by production, ensuring accuracy of information, entering key information into the appropriate systems and supporting cycle count activities. This position will also gather data and update key performance metrics that will be used by the management team to drive decisions.
  • Update Job sheet error report
  • Dispatching orders when they are ready to ship
  • Process Tags for Vendor returns
  • Filing and Archiving
  • Inventory Control
  • Complete warehouse transfers
  • Transfer Slow Moving Off Grade (SMOG) cylinders out of the system prior to disposal.
  • Generate cycle counts and enter count information into system
  • Investigate cycle count variances
  • Reporting / Metrics
  • Maintain Job Variance report
  • Maintain Duplicate Report
  • Update metrics timely for management review

Job Requirements

As a Inventory Control Specialist you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Business related experience
  • 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain, customer service or finance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Data entry skills that ensure accuracy of data
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Proficient at google sheets and analytics
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving capability
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner
