As a Cost Accountant Consultant, you will be responsible for all cost accounting activities. This involves preparing and analyzing financial information, especially as it relates to intercompany and inventory clean-up. You will be accountable for ensuring that all financial deadlines are met.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing entries to GL accounts
- Reconciling accounting ledgers by posting account transactions
- Preparing financial reports summarizing account information and trends
- Resolving account discrepancies
- Communicating financial information to department heads and product line managers
- Reconciling and cleaning up post-implementation work related to cost accounting intercompany accounts and inventory.
