Marketing Manager at Kforce Finance and Accounting

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a Marketing Manager. Overview: Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Corporate Sponsorship, the Marketing Manager is accountable for activation planning, execution, communication and post-event review of the company's strategic partnership and Canadian event portfolio. The Marketing Manager will work with various internal stakeholders, including LOB partners, Marketing, Finance, Community Giving, Corporate Communications and Media Relations, as well as external partners. Current portfolio includes the following segments/partnerships: Canadian Defence Community, Agriculture, Calgary Stampede, BMO Vancouver Marathon and Kids Help Phone. Job Summary: The Marketing Manager will be working in a collaborative, professional, and friendly environment with a lot of different groups. There are weekly team meetings and one-on-ones for support. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about the opportunity with interest in growing their portfolio and seizing opportunities. They are a creative individual with marketing and design experience and will be supporting the enterprise! Responsibilities:
  • Planning, development and execution of contractual assets; Detailed tracking of all deliverables/approvals
  • Onsite activation management including set up/tear down of signage and overseeing program delivery and hospitality (will be required to work evenings and weekends)
  • Responsible for execution of communications strategy; individual will work with both internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to, customers, executives, operational departments, vendors and partners
  • Accurately track various metrics, report findings, develop summary to be presented to a breadth of audiences; creation of post-event report by property, as well as year-end portfolio view

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
  • Project management, events, sponsorship industry experience
  • Basic knowledge of the financial sector and the FI landscape an asset
  • Experience in customer service and problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical and strategic thinking
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PPT
  • Should be comfortable and adept at both verbal and written communications
  • Works independently, with a high level of professionalism, maturity and established relationship management skills
  • Organization, time management, ability to prioritize, and attention to detail are critical for success in this role
  • Ability to manage several projects at once, work with tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Contract negotiation experience and bilingualism (English/French) are not required, but advantageous
