Overview of the Manager of Pricing and Contracts Analyst Role:
- Works closely with North American and Far East Sales to negotiate and develop contract proposals and daily rate quotes, based on competitive pricing and logistic analysis.
- Develops contract tools to determine contract financial feasibility and/or compensatory margins.
- Defines and implement new business processes to create efficiencies for the pricing department and throughout the organization.
- Provides analytical information to team regarding competitor activities including tariff rate action, accessorial charges, rules, and interpretation, using web tools and other industry resources.
- Interfaces with the Logistics department, Accounting department and Customer Service to provide information needed
- Additional duties and projects as needed
Preferred Qualifications for Pricing and Contracts Analyst role:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the key functions listed above.
- Transportation industry experience is a plus
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills
