Product QA Technician - Cupertino, CA - 12+ Months
- You'll work closely with Client Services' Product, Design, Editorial and Marketing teams to grasp the key features and flows within our media products. You'll use a variety of tools and automation scripts to produce compelling screenshots and video captures that accurately represent the user experience.
- Our products live on multiple devices, in over 100 countries and 40+ languages. The features and content will often vary, but you'll understand those nuances, and be comfortable tracking and delivering assets at scale. You're process-driven, constantly striving to refine tools and workflow, and improve efficiency.
- You'll build up an encyclopedic knowledge of the latest products and features, and will be able to identify and track bugs and issues you encounter, providing cross-functional teams with timely and accurate information. Experience
- Ideal candidate has experience in writing automation scripts, coding (they use an internal language but it's based on python, anyone that can use Java, Javascript or Swift should be able to pick this up easily)
- They have strong written and verbal communication as it'll be a 50% technical role, 50% functional role
- Previous experience can be either a couple years professional experience and a CS degree or come from a good program OR someone with 5-8 years of professional experience
- Does not need to build a framework Someone who is heading in the direction of engineering, this might not be the right career move for them
