Staffmark has immediate openings for Production Associates with Woodstock Sterile Solutions in Woodstock, IL on 2nd shift! Positions are temporary to hire with growth opportunity and they promote from within! This facility specializes in the Blow, Fill, Seal technology. The primary products they manufacture are respiratory, ophthalmic, and nutritional medicines.
This is a great opportunity to learn new skills in a work environment that is clean, safe and has state of the art technology. As a Production Associate you will be responsible for trimming, inspecting, packaging and finish packing products manufactured on automated machines. 2nd shift: 2pm-10pm (M-F) plus voluntary overtime Production Associates will work 8 hours with 30-minute paid breaks, overtime is available on a voluntary basis.
Job duties:
- Work from written and verbal job instructions to visually inspect bottles for legible lot numbers and expiration date.
- Inspect for leaks and other defects.
- Place units in plastic bags or inner cartons with inserts and/or adapters as required.
- Check sealed bags or shrink-wrapped items for complete and proper packaging of products.
- Place packed items in cartons, seal and apply shipper label and stack carton on skid.
- Monitor machinery for jam-ups or other malfunctions, informing appropriate level of supervision, turning off when necessary.
Skills and requirements:
- Minimum one year of continuous employment; preferably with previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or assembly
- Basic computer skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience with cGMP is a plus
