Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates material flow activity
- Supports Business Plan Goals
- Internal Controls compliance for their functions
- Works with material supervisors
- Ensures correct inventories for all material (inventory control process)
- Interfaces with suppliers, engineering, and plant floor on material issues
- Monitors pull systems through periodic audits
- Generate timely reports on results
- Responsible for investigating inventory discrepancies and making necessary adjustments
- Responds to and resolves floor problems in the assigned floor area such as min/max conditions, standard pack discrepancies, packaging compliance coordination with the supplier, labeling, part misuse, and discrepancy reports
- Resolves other supplier non-conformances
- Audit of receiving process, follow-up and resolution
- Responsible for end of model obsolescence
