Repair Administrators (Engine Shop) at STS Technical Services

Job Duties:

  • The Repair Administrator (Engine Shops) reports to the Powerplant Division Materials Manager. The basic function is responsibility for component repairs to support company / customer engine requirements, and administration of all equipment warranty issues and concerns. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Allocating components for repair / overhaul.
  •  Generating repair orders for company / customer items.
  • Ensuring that only approved providers are used for component repair /overhaul. This is done by referencing the Approved Maintenance Provider List, or obtaining an approval from the Kalitta Air Quality Assurance Department for a one-time use.
  • Ensuring that repaired / overhauled parts are airworthy and have the required certification.
  • Reviewing provider's quotes on parts that are out for repair / overhaul. Preparing the current inventory level and any additional information required for quote approval.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Powerplant Division Materials Manager.
