Job Duties:
- The Repair Administrator (Engine Shops) reports to the Powerplant Division Materials Manager. The basic function is responsibility for component repairs to support company / customer engine requirements, and administration of all equipment warranty issues and concerns. Additional responsibilities include:
- Allocating components for repair / overhaul.
- Generating repair orders for company / customer items.
- Ensuring that only approved providers are used for component repair /overhaul. This is done by referencing the Approved Maintenance Provider List, or obtaining an approval from the Kalitta Air Quality Assurance Department for a one-time use.
- Ensuring that repaired / overhauled parts are airworthy and have the required certification.
- Reviewing provider's quotes on parts that are out for repair / overhaul. Preparing the current inventory level and any additional information required for quote approval.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Powerplant Division Materials Manager.
