Research Associate (Immunology, Cell-Based Assays) #324925
DUTIES
- Talented Research Associate supporting Biochemical & Cellular Pharmacology Dept in R&D.
- Demonstrate experience with primary immune cell isolation and culture, cell transfection, Luminex assays, automated or semi-automated instrumentation
- in-vitro screening & functional characterization of T cell receptors for the development of personalized neoantigen directed T cell therapies.
- Demonstrate expertise including flow cytometry, cell-based functional assays, and culture of mammalian cell lines; Cancer Immunology, Protein Chemistry, and Molecular Biology
- Develop, validate and execute high-throughput cell-based assays to characterize T cell activation and cytotoxicity in vitro and support lead-finding/ optimization efforts.
- Function as part of a multi-disciplinary project team that will coordinate with Cancer Immunology, Protein Chemistry, and Molecular Biology groups to advance personalized cellular therapies.
REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Immunology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field with experience in academia, Biotechnology and/or Pharmaceutical industry
- 1-5 yrs. in design, development, validation and execution of biochemical & cell-based assays
- 1-5 yrs. experience with flow cytometry, cell-based assays, and culture of mammalian cell lines
- 1-5 yrs. experience with primary immune cell isolation and culture, cell transfection, Luminex assays, automated or semi-automated instrumentation
- Cancer Immunology, Protein Chemistry, and Molecular Biology
- A strong foundation in immunology and hands-on expertise in immune cell assays
- Ability to work independently to design, execute, and interpret experiments, collaborate with teams
- Excellent teamwork, communication, time management, and organizational skills
