Revenue Accountant at Kforce Finance and Accounting

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is looking for Revenue Accountants on a long-term contract basis in Spring, Texas (TX). Duties Include:

• Revenue Accountants ensure related general ledger accounts are reconciled and provide variance explanations when necessary for financial and management reporting
• Ensure calculation and payment of oil and gas revenue is made timely and accurately for assigned area
• Answer revenue questions from interest owners, partners, and customers in assigned area
• As a Revenue Accountant, you will develop knowledge of the contractual and operational environment in assigned area
• Develop a relationship with and communicate effectively with personnel in the field offices, technical, and marketing personnel; Work with remitters, purchasers, and transporters as needed; Work as a supportive team member in the Revenue Accounting group; Assist with process and system improvements

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of Revenue Accounting experience
• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
• Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
